It is produced only in the best years selecting the best bunches of Sangiovese and Colorino. The juice ferments in stainless steel containers where it leaves macerated on skins for a longer period of Chianti Classico, after malolactic fermentation the wine is aging, initially in to end up in barrels and casks, once bottled, is stored for further aging in bottle before being sold.
First period in oak casks of 15 hl French barriques then a second step for 24/36 months before being bottled, is then aged for a minimum of one year in bottle.
Ruby red color with violet scent is full and intense with hints of cherry, violets, iris and purposes spicy and balsamic.
The mouth is very powerful and strong body, harmonious, elegant with soft tannins, sweet.
